We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Specialist for a part-time position to join our team in Szczecin. In this role, you will play a key part in creating and maintaining a safe, compliant, and healthy working environment for our employees. - Compliance & Auditing: Monitoring safety performance, conducting internal audits, and ensuring compliance with local Polish H&S regulations and corporate standards.
- Risk Management: Identifying hazards, conducting workplace risk assessments, and developing preventative actions to reduce incidents and occupational illnesses.
- Training & Onboarding: Delivering mandatory initial and periodic OHS trainings (in-person or online) and maintaining training records.
- Incident Investigation: Investigating accidents at work and near-misses, preparing required documentation, and implementing corrective actions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Managing H&S records, PPE inventory, and issuing referrals for occupational medical examinations.
- Safety Culture: Promoting a preventive health and safety culture, advising management on safety measures, and collaborating with external authorities.
👤 Candidate Profile:
- Experience: +1 year of experience in a similar role (HSE/OHS) within a production or corporate environment.
- Education: A university degree or post-graduate studies in Occupational Health and Safety (H&S/OHS) is nice to have.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Polish labor law (Kodeks pracy) regarding safety and ISO 45001 standards.
- Languages: Fluent Polish (native) and good English (B2) for reporting in international companies.
- Skills: Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office (Team, Outlook, SherePoint etc.).
- Availability: Availability to work from our office in Szczecin.
