WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The successful incumbent will support IFRS 17 actuarial reporting and risk management for the product lines under the International business.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Support actuarial financial reporting for the international product lines to ensure effective completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual actuarial processes.
Perform comprehensive analysis in explaining earnings by source and movements in insurance contract assets and liabilities.
Support risk management functions, including hedge effectiveness tests, ALM assessment, and sensitivity analysis.
Contribute to in-force extract data updates and annual experience studies.
Assist in various actuarial projects as they arise.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must-Have:
Bachelor’s degree (or above) majoring in Actuarial Science. Other relevant majors are acceptable if accompanied by demonstrated knowledge of Actuarial concepts.
ASA/ACIA designation or near ASA.
Minimum 2 years of actuarial experience with knowledge of IFRS 17 requirements.
Working experience and familiarity with Moody’s AXIS system.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, take initiatives and accountability in addressing issues in actuarial results by collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audience.
Nice-to-Have:
Working experience with R, Tableau, and SQL queries
