Contributes to product strategy by leading the development and enhancement of digital products or services. Conducts market research, collaborates with cross-functional teams, designs user experiences, and oversees the product development lifecycle. Applies expertise in user-centric design, agile methodologies, and market trends to help drive the success of digital products and ensure they meet customer needs and expectations.
- Translate complex engineering initiatives (cloud, platforms, APIs, AI/ML, automation, integrations) into clear, compelling business narratives that resonate with leadership and stakeholders
- Convert technical use cases into measurable business outcomes, including customer value (experience, adoption, retention, NPS), financial impact (cost savings, cost avoidance, revenue enablement, margin improvement), and operational efficiency (cycle time reduction, productivity gains, throughput)
- Serve as a strategic bridge between Engineering, Product, and Business teams to ensure alignment and clarity of value
- Create executive-level storytelling artifacts such as presentations, dashboards, QBRs, and leadership updates that clearly communicate impact
- Define and standardize business KPIs that directly link engineering outputs to business outcomes
- Build and operationalize a value realization framework that connects technology delivery to measurable business impact
- Drive data-backed storytelling with strong alignment to metrics, KPIs, and business objectives
- Leverage AI tools, analytics platforms, and automation to enhance storytelling, improve insights, and identify efficiencies
- Identify and communicate optimization opportunities across cost reduction, process simplification, and scalable growth initiatives
- Increase visibility of platform capabilities, innovation, and engineering achievements across the organization
- Establish a repeatable communication and storytelling framework to ensure consistency and scalability
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Finance, and Business leaders to align on value articulation and outcomes
- Mentor Product Managers and Product Leaders on business storytelling and translating technology initiatives into clear business impact
- Build organizational capability through development of playbooks, templates, and best practices
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
- 7+ years of experience translating technical use cases into measurable business outcomes, including customer value (experience, adoption, retention, NPS), financial impact (ROI, cost savings, revenue contribution), and operational efficiency (productivity, scalability, performance)
- 3+ years of techno-functional expertise with a strong understanding of modern engineering ecosystems (cloud, distributed systems, APIs, data platforms, AI/ML, automation), and the ability to interpret technical architecture and articulate clear business implications
- 3+ years of experience in executive storytelling with strong communication skills, including creating impactful materials for VP, SVP, and EVP-level audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Product Marketing, Strategy Consulting, Transformation, or Platform Strategy with a strong ability to connect technology initiatives to business value
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI, Generative AI, and analytics tools to enhance storytelling, generate insights, and drive productivity improvements
- Demonstrated experience building scalable frameworks and playbooks for tech-to-business translation, value realization, and executive communication
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, including ROI, TCO, and cost-benefit analysis, with the ability to apply them in decision-making
- Experience mentoring and developing Product Managers, Product Leaders, and cross-functional team members to build organizational capability
- Familiarity with platform modernization, legacy transformation, enterprise system integrations, and large-scale AI adoption and automation initiatives
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
