Job Description
The Intelligence Analyst anticipates and assesses threats that could impact the NFL, its employees, guests, or assets across domestic and international environments. This role involves monitoring and analyzing information from open sources, official channels, and professional networks to produce timely, accurate, and actionable assessments. The analyst supports security and crisis management operations, conducts investigations, and contributes to programs that safeguard NFL personnel, facilities, and events worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess threats related to terrorism, criminal activity, civil unrest, and other security concerns affecting NFL operations domestically and internationally.
- Provide intelligence support for major NFL events, including games, Draft, Super Bowl, and International Series, as well as routine operations.
- Support investigations into security incidents, threats, and other matters as directed, including gathering intelligence, analyzing findings, and coordinating with law enforcement and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct research and draft a range of intelligence deliverables, including travel risk assessments, event threat assessments, strategic assessments, ad hoc advisories, and intelligence bulletins; deliver verbal intelligence briefings to stakeholders as needed.
- Develop and maintain security programs to protect critical assets, including infrastructure, personnel, intellectual property, and business relationships.
- Support the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in managing travel risk and ensuring robust monitoring and response protocols for domestic and international travel.
- Monitor real-time alarms, CCTV, and access control systems and escalate notifications to on-site security and NFL Security leadership as needed.
- Maintain incident logs and draft detailed incident and investigation reports in compliance with GSOC standards.
- Operate mass notification systems during security incidents to inform staff and external partners.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners, including law enforcement and intelligence agencies, to address emerging threats.
- Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Support GSOC manager in tracking production metrics to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Lead special projects and assist in sensitive investigations as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 2+ years of experience in law enforcement, military, or private/public sector intelligence and security operations.
- Experience in intelligence collection, threat analysis, and security operations.
- Strong understanding of domestic and international security issues, including terrorism, organized crime, and civil unrest.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or conducting investigations.
- Technical proficiency in threat monitoring tools and reporting technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of related experience in law enforcement, military or private/public sector security operations center intelligence and operations.
