As a Senior Manager - Ethics, Risk & Compliance (ERC), you will play a critical leadership role in strengthening and advancing our Ethics, Risk & Compliance framework across the organization. Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help drive compliance excellence, risk management, business continuity, and third-party risk strategies while fostering a culture where ethical decision-making is embedded in everything we do.


 

Job Description



Key Responsibilities
 

  • Lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of Ethics, Risk & Compliance programs across the country organization

  • Partner with senior leaders to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance, business continuity, and third-party risk exposures

  • Drive the execution of anti-bribery, risk management, and compliance frameworks, ensuring alignment with Novartis policies and regulatory requirements

  • Build compliance capabilities through training, coaching, and guidance, fostering a strong culture of integrity and accountability

  • Lead and support strategic ERC projects, providing data-driven insights, governance oversight, and recommendations to senior stakeholders



Essential Requirements
 

  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 3 years in a senior Ethics, Risk & Compliance role

  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, anti-bribery standards, and risk management principles (local and global)

  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and monitoring Ethics, Risk & Compliance programs within a complex and highly regulated environment

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams

  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilities



Desirable Requirements
 

  • Experience leading Ethics, Risk & Compliance and Governance within a multinational organization

  • Experience leveraging data analytics, digital technologies, and compliance monitoring tools to strengthen risk identification, oversight, and decision-making
