Job Summary: In this role you will play a key part in ensuring the quality and consistency of our manufactured building envelope products, including glazing systems, metal panels, and fabricated trims. You will work closely and collaboratively with the production teams to uphold standards and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Promote, enforce, and continuously improve quality standards for all our shop fabrication processes
  • Perform in‑process and final inspections of building envelope materials: exterior glass/glazing products and architectural metals
  • Review shop drawings, fabrication details and specifications to ensure dimensional accuracy
  • Train and mentor team members on proper quality control techniques and recommend process improvements
  • Monitor proper use of tools and machinery while maintaining a strong safety culture
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and address quality concerns
  • Complete required reports and SOP documentation as needed
  • Assist in other tasks and/or other departments as needed 
 
Requirements 
  • Must meet one of the following: QA/QC experience in manufacturing/fabrication environment OR a recent graduate with a technical or mechanical engineering degree.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications
  • Ability to learn our QC process and enforce quality standards 
  • Comfortable standing 8-10 hours per day and working in a shop setting
  • Reliable transportation- can make the daily commute to Salt Lake City, UT
  • Pass a background check and drug screening
  • Previous working experience with building envelope products is preferred but not required (glazing, architectural metals)
