Senior Data Scientist, Economics (m/f/d)

Our data science team builds and operates machine learning systems that power vehicle pricing and valuation across our marketplaces and dealer platforms. These systems influence how vehicles are priced, traded, and valued across multiple products and markets, powering products used by millions of users across our platforms. 

As Senior Data Scientist, Economics, you will design, build, and evolve the machine learning systems behind these pricing and valuation capabilities. You will work on complex and often ambiguous problems, exercising strong technical judgment to translate marketplace dynamics into reliable production systems. 

This is a hands-on role where you design, build, and operate machine learning, econometric, and GenAI systems that run in production and matter to the business. At the same time, you will influence technical direction, raise the bar for engineering practices, and enable other data scientists and engineers to succeed. 

You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders across AutoScout24, AutoProff, LeasingMarkt, and Trader to turn marketplace challenges into scalable ML-driven products.pythonawsmachine learningaidataproductdesign
