Senior Manager, Marketing and Business Development

Location: Dallas (3-4 days in office)

About the Role:

We're seeking a strategic orchestrator who thrives at the intersection of creativity and execution. This role is for someone who loves the thrill of winning business, crafting compelling narratives, developing differentiated positioning, and leading high-stakes pursuits

If you're energized by competitive pursuits, excel at connecting strategic dots, and find satisfaction in seeing your work directly impact business growth, this role offers the perfect blend of strategic influence and hands-on creativity.

What You'll Do:

Drive Strategic Pursuits

Lead end-to-end pursuit strategy for significant opportunities (including deals over 50,000 SF), from initial kickoff through final presentation. You'll orchestrate proposal development, coordinate cross-functional teams, establish timelines, and lead rehearsals that position our team to win.

Craft Compelling Business Stories

Direct the creation of customized pitches, proposals, RFP responses, and presentations that showcase our unique value proposition. Your strategic insight will transform data and market intelligence into persuasive narratives that resonate with prospects across the JLL platform.

Shape Go-to-Market Strategy

Leverage competitive intelligence and market knowledge to identify and amplify our differentiators. You'll develop positioning strategies that give our business lines distinct advantages in the marketplace.

Lead Through Influence

Mentor business development associates, facilitate post-pursuit debriefs, and serve as a multi-business line expert.

Optimize Systems and Processes

Drive efficiency initiatives within our team. You'll evaluate and implement new tools, manage relationships with external partners (design teams, research, subject matter experts), and ensure our team operates at peak effectiveness.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Strategic and creative thinking with exceptional organizational skills (you create systems from chaos and think several moves ahead while maintaining meticulous attention to detail)

· Advanced project management skills and ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and complex pursuits simultaneously

· Knowledge of graphic design, digital and print production

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Platform (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

· Technologically savvy with ability to evaluate and implement new tools that enhance team productivity

· Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills (you translate technical real estate concepts into compelling business narratives)

· Strong leadership and verbal communication skills that build credibility with senior stakeholders

· Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail

· Deep understanding of and commitment to client service

· Team management and mentoring capabilities

· Strategic thinking and business development acumen (you understand competitive positioning and what drives pursuit success)

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field

• 5–8 years of related experience, with real estate experience encouraged
