As Field Service Engineer, you will ensure the performance, safety, and compliance of advanced medical technologies across hospitals in Wallonia and Luxembourg. This is an ideal opportunity for a recently graduated engineer eager to launch a hands-on technical career in the healthcare environment.
What you will do
- In-depth troubleshooting of equipment and interconnected systems (mechanical, electronic, firmware/basic software)
- Repair, reassembly, and adjustments including parts identification and calibration to spec/tolerances
- Execute root cause analysis on recurring failures; propose and implement corrective actions
- Produce complete service documentation (service reports, NCs, test certificates)
- Confident with diagnostic instruments, oscilloscopes, calibration tools, and torque management
- Solid understanding of QMS, CAPA, traceability, EHS/ISO requirements
- Begins taking initiative to improve processes, products, quality, cost-efficiency/profitability, and safety/health conditions
- Has a good understanding of procedures and functional concepts
- Fully masters the repair procedures and product ranges within scope
- Is versatile across multiple product families and contributes actively to the team’s activity
- Performs standard work tasks in addition to field interventions
- Able to identify anomalies and escalate them appropriately to the relevant contacts
What you will need
Required qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in field service engineering type of role
- Fluency in French
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Basic technical knowledge of electronics and/or mechanical systems
- Valid drive's license
Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in Dutch
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field
- Knowledge of medical device servicing and regulatory standards
- Initial experience using service management or technical documentation systems

- Territory: Wallonia and Luxembourg (ideal candidate based near Namur or Liège)
- Field-based role with regular travel to customer sites
