About the role

As the Costing Executive, Specifically, you will possess following skillset:

  • Prepare and review quotations for both new Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and existing SKUs for the Malaysia and Singapore markets, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Ensure all pricing proposals comply with the company’s Delegation of Authority (DOA) guidelines, securing necessary internal approvals prior to quote submission.
  • Monitor product margins and conduct thorough profitability analyses to support strategic business decisions.
  • Proactively drive initiatives aimed at improving margins and overall profitability.
  • Provide support for ad hoc reporting requests, delivering clear and actionable insights to management and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, with a focus on Purchase Price Variance (PPV), price erosion, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Calculate direct labor, burden, and overhead costs to support accurate product costing and financial planning.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure Bills of Materials (BOM) and routings are accurately maintained in the SAP system.
  • Execute annual standard cost roll processes, ensuring up-to-date and precise standard costing across all relevant products.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in costing, manufacturing accounting, or general accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP systems, Financial Modeling and advanced excel
  • Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, organization, and resourcefulness; dependable and capable of solving problems effectively; consistently meets deadlines
