CVS Business Unit: Signify Health
Location / Logistics: Remote position in US with some travel required

Summary

Develops and executes the operational strategy for Signify Health’s National Traveler Program, ensuring a highly mobile clinician workforce is strategically deployed to meet nationwide demand.

This role focuses on optimizing traveler utilization, streamlining the logistics of mobile clinician placement, and aligning traveler capacity with high-priority market needs to drive overall organizational growth.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Traveler Strategy Execution: Develops and implements the National Traveler operations strategy, ensuring mobile clinician deployment is aligned with organizational coverage goals and client volume requirements.

  • Market Trend Analysis: Conducts routine research into travel healthcare industry benchmarks and best practices to ensure the program remains competitive in attracting and retaining high-quality mobile clinicians.

  • Performance Insights: Delivers regular reporting on Traveler-specific performance metrics, highlighting trends in utilization, cost-to-serve, and geographic impact to keep stakeholders informed of program health.

  • Logistics Optimization: Identifies opportunities to streamline traveler workflows—from licensing and credentialing across state lines to travel logistics—reducing operational friction and "time-to-market."

  • Data-Driven Deployment: Utilizes data to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) that evaluate the ROI and operational effectiveness of the traveler pool compared to local clinician networks.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners with Recruiting, Credentialing, and Finance to develop strategic initiatives that support the rapid scaling and movement of clinicians to high-need regions.

  • Forecasting & Modeling: Develops complex demand models and travel scenarios to forecast the headcount and "travel levers" needed to mitigate coverage gaps in emerging or underserved markets.

  • Program Advocacy: Identifies areas of concern regarding traveler retention or market saturation and recommends corrective actions to ensure a sustainable and scalable mobile workforce.

  • Knowledge Leadership: Serves as the subject matter expert for National Traveler operations, encouraging best-practice sharing across the broader Operations and Network teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, specifically regarding the logistical complexities of a national workforce.

  • Ability to translate complex geographic demand data into actionable deployment plans.

  • Strong communication skills to manage expectations across multi-functional corporate teams and remote field clinicians.

  • 3–5 years in Operations Strategy, Workforce Planning, or Program Management (experience with mobile/traveling workforces is a plus).

  • Excel - Candidates should be comfortable using intermediate to advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Index/Match)

  • Google Workspace Proficiency: Ability to utilize the Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) for cross-functional collaboration

  • PowerBI & Data Visualization: Should possess basic skills in PowerBI to assist in delivering regular reporting on performance metrics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or specialized training/relevant professional qualification in Operations, Healthcare Administration, or Logistics
