This role has hybrid work pattern, 3 days per week from our Warsaw office with 2 days remote.

General Description:

The Project Manager – Procurement Technology Solutions leads end-to-end delivery of procurement and Source-to-Pay (S2P) technology initiatives that improve buying, contracting, supplier enablement, compliance, and user experience. This role partners with Procurement, Finance, GTS, Legal, and external vendors to plan, govern, and execute implementations and enhancements for S2P platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Agiloft CLM, or comparable solutions). The Project Manager owns project outcomes across scope, schedule, budget, RAID management, governance, change control, testing, cutover, adoption, and stabilization/hypercare in a matrixed environment.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the full project lifecycle for procurement/S2P initiatives (initiate → plan → execute → test → deploy → stabilize)
  • Develop and maintain integrated plans across workstreams, milestones, dependencies, critical path, cutover, and hypercare.
  • Run governance routines (status, steering updates, decision logs) with executive-ready reporting.
  • Own scope, change control, RAID, escalations, and corrective action planning.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Drive alignment across Procurement, Finance, IT, Legal and vendor partners through workshops and structured communications. [apexsystems.com],
  • Manage delivery partners and vendors, including SOW milestones, deliverable acceptance, and issue resolution.

Solution Implementation (S2P / CLM / Procurement Platforms)

  • Lead implementations/enhancements for S2P capabilities (platform-dependent): sourcing, contracting/CLM, supplier enablement, buying, invoicing, and related workflows
  • Coordinate integrations with ERP/Finance systems, data readiness/migration activities, and environment management.
  • Coordinate testing (SIT/UAT), release readiness, deployment, training, and adoption activities.

Quality, Risk, and Outcomes

  • Identify/mitigate risks related to data, security, compliance, operational readiness, and vendor execution; escalate appropriately.
  • Track outcomes and stabilization metrics and drive lessons learned/continuous improvement.

  Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technology project management experience delivering enterprise solutions (implementation and/or major enhancements).
  • PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar project/program certification.
  • Strong delivery discipline: planning, RAID, change control, financial/budget awareness, and stakeholder communications.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external delivery partners/vendors.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC / implementation lifecycle; able to coordinate requirements, testing, deployment, and stabilization.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience delivering Finance Technology programs in regulated, global, or highly matrixed environments.
  • Prior implementation experience with SAP Ariba, Agiloft CLM, or comparable S2P/CLM technologies (Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer, GEP, Zycus, etc.).
  • Experience with ERP integration coordination and global rollout/change management activities.
  • PMP/PMI-ACP/PRINCE2 certification and/or change management training (preferred). Knowledge of common ERP and finance transformation challenges, including data migration, process standardization, localization, testing coordination, and stakeholder readiness.
  • Experience with PMO tooling, dashboarding, and executive reporting.
  • Exposure to finance-adjacent technologies such as consolidation, close, reconciliation, planning, reporting, or workflow platforms.

Salary Range Poland: 240,000.00 PLN - 300,000.00 PLN
