Job Description

Summary

Responsible for accounting, financial reporting and other business related functions of Concord Hospital or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates. Works closely with managers of departments on issues relating to the financial management of their departments.

Education

Five to six years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g., Masters Degree or five-year program).

Certification, Registration & Licensure

None Required.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years general accounting experience or health care accounting experience. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Prior experience with McKesson systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurate and timely production of Concord Hospital, subsidiary and/or affiliate financial

    statements.

  • Reconciles and adjusts all accounts for the entities assigned on a monthly basis.

  • Oversees and/or performs all invoicing required of assigned entities.

  • Prepares various analyses and reports as needed for the annual audit of financial statements.

  • Responsible for accurately maintaining the assigned entities fixed asset system.

  • Assists managers to insure budgets are completed and submitted on time.
