Hourly base pay rate is $26.73 - $40.10/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

Work schedule: Mon-Thursday, 5am-3:30pm

What You’ll Do

  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, transmission flush, and inspection of vehicle for mechanical deficiencies.

  • Based upon certification levels, various repairs and maintenance which may include: OBD II systems, brake components, tires, tune-ups, suspension components, aerial lifts,

  • Electrical systems, State Safety Inspections, interior/exterior components, engine and drive line components, etc.

  • May maintain/repair equipment. (cable trailers, laptop docking stations, etc.)

  • Keep shop area clean and tidy. Perform work in accordance to safety standards. Dispose of all fluids in a safe manner and in accordance with all regulations.

  • Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records. May up fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.

  • Assures availability of specialized auto & trucks by troubleshooting and repairing complexes, generators and electrical systems, hybrids, and on-board computer systems.

  • Provides custom equipment when needed by engaging in equipment design and moderate fabrication tasks including welding.

  • Assures prompt repairs by interfacing and coordinating with vendors for parts and repairs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Minimum:

  • 5+ years automotive service and repair experience.

  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.

  • Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.

  • Diesel and transmission experience.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.

  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb.

  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements.

  • ASE A1-A8

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Medium/heavy work, booms/hydraulics, electrical and complex repairs experience.

  • One year of customer service experience.

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
