Spa Internship - Amanfayun

Location Overview
Join our team in Amanfayun.  Hidden away in a picturesque valley, Amanfayun is surrounded by tea fields, natural woodland and a pilgrimage circuit of seven ancient Buddhist temples. Just six kilometres from tranquil West Lake, a Unesco World Heritage Site, Amanfayun is a place apart where stone pathways lead to shaded courtyards and 46 peaceful abodes, some over a century old.  

Role

Welcome guests and efficiently handle retail transactions using the computerized point-of-sale system. Perform opening and closing procedures, maintain accurate cash control, and engage in merchandising tasks such as moving, folding, tagging, and displaying products.

Period 01 June 2026

Responsibilities: 

• Greeting and serving guests in a professional, gracious manner
• Observing and learning from experienced staff to acquire knowledge of hotel management and operations
• Assisting in the Spa Reception Operations, including providing service and other daily operations
• Assisting in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all guest areas
• Communicating effectively with guests, staff, and supervisors
• Participating in training and development opportunities as required

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Hospitality, Business or Tourism
• Speak fluent in Mandarin and English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
• Passionate about customer service and the hospitality industry
• Must be qualified to work in China for four consecutive months or more.
