About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Operations Processor.

The role is responsible for investigation of payment inquiries from Global clients (internal/external) that arise due to incorrect SWIFT, Telex, FED payment instructions and/or investigation of the validity of the funds being transferred to/from the Correspondent Bank.


In this role, you will:

  • Perform general clerical operations tasks that are routine in nature
  • Receive, log, batch, and distribute work
  • File, photocopy, and answer phones
  • Prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles
  • Work under close supervision following established procedures


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in the Banking and Finance work environment 
  • Skills requirements includes SWIFT payments, International Wire Transfer, OFAC 
  • Exposure to SWIFT / Telex / FED payment instructions and/or investigation
  • College graduate


Job Expectations:

  • Investigates Payment related inquiries or services to clients (Financial Institutions) which includes sending SWIFT, FED WIRE and CHIPS messages, Return and Cancellation of payments, Hold funds in the General Ledger and re-effecting payments.
  • Corrects and creates different payment message types (SWIFT, FED WIRE, CHIPS, Telex) used by the payment parties
  • Team currently supports common pools – Unable to Apply, Debit Authorization, Amendment and Cancellation pool
  • Amenable to work on US shift and local holidays
  • Amenable to work in Five/NEO, BGC, Taguig City
