Key Responsibilities
Method Development & Validation: Develop and validate analytical methods in accordance to pharmacopeia guidelines
Formulation/Process Development: Conduct pre-formulation studies, formulation optimization, and process development for solid, liquid, or other pharma application formats
Benchmarking studies: Conduct comparative studies on powders and finished applications e.g. tablets
Laboratory Operations: Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex laboratory equipment.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate lab notebooks and prepare technical reports/data and SOPs.
Technology Transfer: Support scale-up activities and transfer methods from R&D to manufacturing
Data Analysis: Use statistical tools and software to analyze and interpret data, including stability studies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
Experience: Generally 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical analytical method development.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with lab and analytical equipment e.g. tabletting machine, dissolution and disintegration tester etc
Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmacopeia guidelines
Soft Skills: Strong analytical reasoning, troubleshooting skills, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
