Service Engineer, ENE

Join us as a Service Engineer and take the lead in delivering exceptional service for pulp mills across China. You’ll collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities, craft technical solutions, and make a real impact on customer success. Your responsibilities

• Assist on-site installation and commissioning of equipment in pulp mills, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Collaborate with Sales teams to identify opportunities and prepare technical solutions for Mechanical and Chemical pulp projects.

• Assist Senior Service Engineer in on-site diagnostics and problem-solving.

• Create mechanical drawings as required.

• Prepare and present reports on problem resolution.

• Coordinate service calls, repairs, and preventative maintenance based on Valmet standards.

• Document project progress, report findings, and share recommendations to improve service offerings.

Expectations for you

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Process Equipment & Control Engineering.

• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical drafting.

• Ability to accept frequent business travel.

• Proficiency in English (oral and written) for effective communication with global colleagues.

• Skilled in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, or Inventor.
