About the role
The Investment Banking Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for providing strategic advisory services for clients and executing mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions as well as assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Investment Banking Associate, you will be a vital member of the deal team, working closely with senior bankers to drive all aspects of a transaction. Your responsibilities will be broad and will include:
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Developing, building, and maintaining complex financial models for valuations, M&A, LBOs, and various capital-raising transactions (IPOs, follow-ons, debt issuances).
- Valuation: Performing in-depth valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, and accretion/dilution analysis.
- Transaction Execution: Participating in all stages of transaction execution, from initial pitch to closing. This includes conducting due diligence, preparing marketing materials, and coordinating with clients and other advisors.
- Client Interaction: Supporting client relationships and participating in client meetings and discussions.
- Mentorship: Providing guidance, training, and mentorship to junior analysts on the team.
Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly motivated and accomplished professional with a passion for investment banking and the Israeli market.
- Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst or Associate at a leading global investment bank or related experience is required.
- Financial Modeling: Extensive, hands-on experience in financial modeling and valuation is essential. Candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in building complex, error-free models from scratch.
- Language: Fluency in both English and Hebrew.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field with a strong record of academic excellence.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies.
- Analytical & Quantitative Skills: Superior analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Work Ethic: A strong work ethic, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, and team-oriented environment.
