Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Delivery

  • Translate Wealth Engineering strategy into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Proactively manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and delivery issues.
  • Apply industry and technology trends to drive competitive advantage and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify cost efficiencies and risk‑mitigation opportunities.
  • Drive transformation initiatives to strengthen operational effectiveness.

Technology and Engineering Leadership

  • Enable delivery across teams building Java and Angular solutions, APIs, and third-party integrations.
  • Champion security, automation, quality engineering, resiliency, performance, stability, and robust AWS-based cloud practices.
  • Drive modernization, technical debt reduction, and responsible AI adoption.
  • Partner with Architecture and DevOps to ensure scalable, compliant, and well-designed solutions.

Agile and Scrum Excellence

  • Lead the Scrum Master Area of Excellence for Wealth.
  • Establish consistent Scrum and Agile standards across teams.
  • Coach Scrum Masters and leaders to improve delivery predictability and execution discipline.

People Leadership and Culture

  • Develop and mentor managers, Scrum Masters, and senior technical leaders.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence across India locations, including regular travel.

Partnership and Influence

  • Build trusted partnerships across Technology, Product, Delivery, Security, and Operations.
  • Influence improvements across teams and organizations through strong relationships and credibility.
  • Create an engaging work environment that supports high performance and retention.

Qualifications

Required

  • Senior technology leadership experience of 18+ years n large‑scale, complex engineering environments.
  • Working technical knowledge of modern engineering stacks, including Java, Angular, API‑based architectures, and cloud platforms such as AWS, with the ability to engage credibly with architects and engineering teams on design decisions, tradeoffs, and delivery outcomes.
  • Proven experience leading technology transformation initiatives that strengthened operational effectiveness, delivery predictability, quality, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to modernize platforms, reduce technical debt, and improve engineering practices while balancing business priorities and delivery commitments.
  • Strong capability to translate technical complexity into clear business outcomes for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience operating within a global delivery model, including leadership across India and US‑based teams.
  • Scrum Master experience with a demonstrated ability to improve Agile execution and delivery consistency.

Preferred

  • Experience in benefits administration platforms, preferably within the Wealth domain.
  • Exposure to AI‑enabled solutions or enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Prior hands‑on experience earlier in career with Java, Angular, API development, or AWS‑based platforms.
