Job Description

Position Overview

The Analyst, Capital Markets & Industry Relations will play a critical role in shaping how VantageScore is understood, evaluated, and adopted across the capital markets ecosystem.

While VantageScore is not a publicly traded company, we operate at the center of the mortgage and auto finance markets, where adoption decisions are heavily influenced by capital markets participants, ABS investors, rating agency stakeholders, research analysts, and industry influencers. This role will support and strengthen our engagement with these audiences to drive confidence, credibility, and market acceptance of VantageScore across origination and securitization channels.

The Analyst will partner closely with Executive Leadership, Capital Markets, Sales, Product, Analytics, and Marketing to develop performance narratives, support investor and analyst engagement, and ensure that VantageScore’s impact on collateral performance, credit risk, and securitization markets is clearly articulated and well understood.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Markets & ABS Engagement

Support VantageScore’s strategic engagement with:

  • ABS investors (mortgage and auto)
  • Structured finance participants
  • Rating agency stakeholders
  • Secondary marketing and capital markets leaders at lenders
  • Sell-side and buy-side market strategists

Develop clear, data-driven narratives explaining how VantageScore impacts:

  • Collateral composition
  • Risk segmentation
  • Delinquency and loss expectations
  • Vintage performance
  • Deal pricing and market confidence

Partner with internal analytics teams to translate model performance results into securitization-relevant insights suitable for investor and market audiences.

Assist in preparing materials and talking points for executive-level meetings, roadshows, industry conferences, and structured finance events.

Analyst & Industry Relations

Support engagement with:

  • Equity research analysts covering mortgage, consumer finance, fintech, and credit reporting sectors
  • Industry analysts and research firms
  • Trade associations and influential market commentators

Help shape and maintain consistent external narratives regarding:

  • VantageScore adoption trends
  • Mortgage and auto market penetration
  • Regulatory developments
  • Fair lending and model governance considerations
  • Capital markets implications of score migration

Monitor industry research, analyst commentary, and structured finance market developments to identify risks, misconceptions, and strategic opportunities.

Develop briefing materials and background documents to ensure VantageScore leadership is well prepared for analyst and market-facing discussions.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Insight

Track ABS issuance trends, collateral performance trends, and investor sentiment in mortgage and auto markets.

Analyze how credit score usage influences:

  • Loan eligibility and overlays
  • Secondary market execution
  • Securitization structuring and investor positioning

Provide leadership with actionable insights regarding how capital markets dynamics may accelerate or impede VantageScore adoption.
