We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Merger and Acquisitions Integration Program Director to oversee the planning and execution of finance-led integration initiatives across the enterprise. This role will serve as a key orchestrator of cross-functional efforts, ensuring seamless integration of acquired entities with a strong focus on financial alignment, operational readiness, and digital enablement. 

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in program management, financial business partnership, and program leadership.

How you’ll make an impact:
 

M&A Integration Leadership 

  • Serve as the Finance integration leader for end-to-end integration programs for acquired businesses, ensuring alignment with financial, operational, and cultural objectives
  • Influence integration results through expert judgement, structured governance, and cross-functional orchestration  
  • Facilitate steering committee and executive updates, providing clear status, risks and decision points 
  • Partners with Corporate Development, Finance, HR, IT, and business units to integrate priorities and ensure timely execution of integration milestones

Financial Strategy & Business Acumen 

  • Translate deal rationale and strategic objectives into actionable financial integration plans, including P&L alignment, reporting structures, controls, and performance tracking
  • Advise senior leadership and facilitate the development and approval of complex business cases to ensure financial targets are embedded in integration plans
  • Provide strategic insights to senior leadership on integration risks, opportunities, and value realization

Program & Portfolio Management 

  • Lead end-to-end finance program management for M&A initiatives, including integration planning, execution, and value realization
  • Design, Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, dependencies and risk mitigation strategies to ensure scope, quality, cost and schedule are controlled  
  • Lead steering committee and project governance meetings, provide quality reporting, and own change management activities to ensure stakeholder alignment and accountability
  • Own integration portfolio insights to enable leaders to optimize resource allocation across the integration portfolio in partnership with functional and regional leaders, manage interdependencies and make informed decisions 

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executive sponsors and acquired finance leadership teams
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, auditors and integration partners  
  • Lead post-close reviews and lessons learned to continuously improve integration of playbooks and practices

What you'll need (Required):

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • A minimum of twelve years experience of hands on experience managing large to midsize projects and/or programs of increasing complexity or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Master's Degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience in program management, finance transformation, or Merger and Acquisition integration
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with the ability to drive achievement of objectives 
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, global environment
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting, and operational processes
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $159,000 to $226,000 (highly experienced).
