About the role
The devices we make at SEL are embedded in the power grid. They prevent blackouts. They make outages safer and shorter in duration; they add cybersecurity, automation, and communication. As an Account Representative, you’ll partner closely with our Sales Manager for Korea, Japan, and Mongolia in business development, sales and marketing, and supporting/managing relationships with our local sales representatives.
As an Account Representative a typical day might include the following:
Provide sales support for assigned territory including activities such as quoting and lead qualification.
Promote sales and track progress toward sales goals by regularly following up on open quotes, providing input for forecasting, and reporting on sales.
Support customer visits to develop relationships, deliver and receive pertinent information regarding customer accounts, and at times represent SEL at tradeshows, conferences and events.
Assist with managing and identifying opportunities to increase sales.
Provide customer service for assigned customers to support order processing/fulfillment or RMA’s, manage and resolve customer feedbacks, and manage NPS/survey responses and resolution.
Provide administrative and customer service support to management, sales engineers, or outside sales reps for assigned customers.
Other duties as assigned.
This job might be for you if:
You have 3 years of progressively responsible customer service, technical sales, or related experience
You have a bachelor's degree or related experience
You have account management experience
You have database and reporting experience (salesforce, etc.)
You have strong communication skills in Korean, English, and Japanese
You have the ability to travel up to 30%
