Why this role?

KONE India is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and this represents an opportunity for you to join our Mumbai (Andheri) team, as a Manager - Finance (Business controller).

What will you be doing?

Forecast & budget activities:

  • Coordination & reporting forecasting, Budgeting.
  • Weekly Review calls with branches
  • Monthly Region Results review
  • HO review/global visitor presentation coordination-As & when needed

NBS/MOD- Order book,P2P,FCM,DOA,OR analysis:

  • Order Book review & drive forecast cost discipline with branches
  • Quarterly job level review for profitability with Branches & Region Team
  • Financial Control Module review for branches & follow-up actions
  • OR analysis & insights to Region Director (Analysis by Segment,Single vs Bulk, LR vs MR)-

Service - Pricing, variable cost, productivity, slow & nonmoving, compliance:

Pricing:

  • Follow-up of specific action plan agreed with branch managers to improve  renewal hike & Discuss with HO finance / business team for review & support needed
  • Conversion discount >30% follow-up of specific action plan agreed with branch managers. Discuss with HO finance/business team for review & support needed

Variable Cost review:

  • Action plan follow-up on material/freight cost/sub con cost  Bud vs act %  on sales&per unit compared to previous year (all high variance branches).

Slow & nonmoving inventory:

  • Quarterly slow & nonmoving hit branches,review with branch managers on mitigation plan&follow-up.

Compliance:

  • Service compliance repeated issues mitigation plan follow & review with HO team
  • Review Meetings-sharing key priorities/Concern Points

Financial controlling-Balance Sheet, Digital, change management, audit, process review:

  • Ensuring financial integrity by maintaining accurate, timely and compliant balance sheet reporting for the region. Implementing controls to mitigate financial risks and drive transparency.
  • Leading and supporting finance-related process changes and digital transformation initiatives. Ensuring smooth adoption by collaborating with stakeholders and driving continuous improvements. –
  • Acting as the key liaison for internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, policies and governance frameworks. Addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conducting regular assessments of financial processes to identify inefficiencies, drive standardization and implement best practices. Enhancing financial controls to improve operational effectiveness and compliance

Treasury - BG,tender deposit,insurance:

  • Insurance/cost incurred >3 years to relook for providing wip provision/as WIP insurance-EAR can be controlled better (>84mths insurance coverage is not permitted)

Fixed assets controlling- Capex budget, forecast, physical verification, clearing long pending items:

  • Review budget proposals and support the HO team in conducting a comprehensive analysis of needs and identifying reductions to meet budget targets in KEI level.
  • Capex forecast review and release of budgets for unplanned or deferred items based on BM/RD's recommendations-

Physical verification:

  • Review the outcomes of branch locations and support in preparing case studies for sensitive items and obtaining RD approvals if regularizations are needed-Annually
  • Clearing GR/IR mismatch items, Capex advances & Capital WIP - Long pending items-As and when needed
  • Provide support in resolving regional-level escalations within the roles defined for branch controllers. - As and when needed

Are you the one?

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Analytics, forecasting, budgeting, financial controlling.
  • Expert in excel & powerpoint.
  • Working knowledge of GST.
