Job Description
What You'll Do
Design end-to-end workflows for enterprise software: task flows, data tables, forms, dashboards, configuration screens, and role-based interfaces.
Partner with Product Management and Engineering to understand requirements, constraints, and user context, then translate them into clear, usable designs.
Create wireframes, interaction flows, and high-fidelity designs in Figma using shared design system components, tokens, and patterns.
Participate in user research, usability testing, and design reviews to validate decisions and improve shipped work.
Apply the design system consistently and flag gaps when product needs outpace existing components.
Document design decisions, interaction specs, and edge cases so engineering teams can build with confidence.
Contribute to design critiques and team rituals that raise quality across the group.
What You Bring
3–5 years of product design experience, with shipped work in enterprise software, B2B SaaS, or complex workflow-driven applications.
Solid interaction design skills. You think in flows and states, not just screens.
Strong Figma proficiency: component usage, auto-layout, prototyping.
Ability to work within a design system: applying tokens, using shared components, knowing when to extend versus reuse.
A foundation in user-centered design: research-informed decisions, usability thinking, clarity over decoration.
Good visual and aesthetic sensibility. You care about the details that make an interface feel considered.
AI fluency in your daily design work. You use AI tools for ideation, exploration, research synthesis, and prototyping as a natural part of how you work, not as a novelty. You're also developing judgment about quality: you can tell when AI output is good enough to build on and when it's producing generic, undifferentiated work that needs your hand.
Clear communication with cross-functional partners. You explain your rationale without a 40-slide deck.
What Could Set You Apart
Good design craft, Figma skills, user empathy, and aesthetic sensibility are the floor. What separates candidates is how fast you're moving toward where the discipline is going.
Hands-on experience with vibe coding or agent-assisted development. You've used tools like Cursor, Claude, or Copilot to go from design to working prototype without waiting for a handoff.
Early understanding of how AI agents connect to real tools and data: concepts like MCP, agentic workflows, context-aware systems. You don't need to build infrastructure, but you're curious about how it shapes what you design.
Genuine curiosity about what AI changes about the design discipline itself, not just what features it enables. You read about it, think about it, ask questions.
A pragmatic, fail-fast mindset. You try things, learn from what doesn't work, and don't wait for permission to experiment.
Familiarity with enterprise domains like manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or logistics.
