What You’ll Be Doing
The Enterprise Data Management & Strategy provides oversight on the client data platforms (ECIF, CIW, and EDGE) and leads and accelerates client data assets across our bank by supporting, managing, maintaining and protecting the client data domain to provide one common enterprise view of the client. This role is key to lead and support client data strategies by partnering with various data intensive projects & initiatives as well as key business stakeholders. The Sr. Consultant will provide data consulting & subject matter expertise to projects and business initiatives - taking into account CIBC processes, methodologies, data flows, system integrations and application dependencies. The Sr. Consultant is also responsible for maintaining and strengthening the ECIF Stakeholder Engagement Framework to enhance collaboration, streamline communication, and ensure all stakeholders are effectively involved and informed throughout the project lifecycle of all ECIF impacting initiatives. This also includes collaborating with partners across the organization to gather insights and share best practices, as well as the development of educational resources and training materials which can be utilized across the organization.

How You’ll Succeed
- Subject Matter Expertise and Best Practices: Provide guidance, analysis, subject matter expertise and specialized knowledge/advice/best practices to internal business groups in the area of effective use of client data across platforms.
- Representation on Enterprise Initiatives: Represent Data & Analytics and Consulting on a wide range of enterprise initiatives related to client data as it related to ECIF, CIW and EDGE. The successful candidate will ensure recommendations can be effective and efficient over the long term and meet the business & project objectives.
- Partnership and Process Improvement: Partner with LOBs to identify opportunities to integrate, automate, streamline data processes that will bring in efficiency, lessen manual intervention, increase end user efficiency.
- Technical and Business Analysis Skills: Candidate must be self-motivated with project experience, knowledge of the technologies & data applications, business analysis used to support enterprise programs, a broad knowledge of CIBC Lines of Business and enterprise wide processes.
- Collaboration with Key Partners: Candidate will work closely with the key partners (LOB's, Information Security, Risk Management, Architecture, Data Governance) to ensure that business and client impact issues are well understood and addressed.

- You can demonstrate experience in working with large enterprise initiatives, ability to handle/understand ambiguous requirements, project management, influencing without authority, ability to understand data management and data governance concepts, creating and making presentations to business stakeholders. Must have experience in business analysis, client data domain projects and subject matter expertise with ECIF, data warehouses and CIBC applications.
