Tax Technology, Senior Specialist (Bangkok Based, Relocation Provided)

The Opportunity:  

As a Tax Technology, Senior Specialist, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Agoda's tax systems, with a strong focus on indirect tax engines and compliance enablement.  Based in Bangkok with Agoda Services Co. Ltd, this role will report to the Tax Data & Technology Associate Director and sit within a broader Tax team that is rapidly expanding in response to the evolving global tax landscape for digital services. While embedded within the Tax and Finance organization, you will work closely with Product, Technology, Supply, Legal, and Senior Leadership teams, as well as collaborate with sister brand companies and our US parent company. 

This is a systems‑first, hands‑on role at the intersection of tax, data, and technology. You will design and operationalize tax logic, tax classification, and tax determination within Agoda's tax systems, translating complex tax requirements into scalable solutions that integrate seamlessly with billing platforms, ERP, and compliance tools.  The role offers a unique opportunity to influence how tax technology is designed and operated in a high‑growth, platform‑driven environment, while contributing directly to Agoda’s long‑term compliance, automation, and risk‑mitigation strategy. 

As Agoda continues to evolve, the scope of this role may expand over time. You will be expected to adapt, grow, and take on new responsibilities as the organization and tax landscape change.
