About The Role
The Technician, Reference Standard is responsible for reference standards activities including the reception, storage, inventory, request/dispensing, shipping and tracking of reference standards (RFS).

What You’ll Do Here

• Manage the request and dispensing of reference standards (RFS)
• Manage the inventory of the RFS
• Handle the receipt, shipping, storage, and tracking of RFS
• Manage the RFS Material safety data sheet (MSDS)
• Manage the RFS Certificate of analysis (CoA)
• Respect Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and work procedures
• Maintain all RFS logs
• Conduct all work in compliance with applicable SOPs, GCPs, GLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• College or bachelor degree in health sciences or equivalent. Pertinent experience may be considered in lieu
• Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills
• Attentive to details.
• Customer-focused.
• Good communication
• Works well within a team
• Software knowledge in MS-Office, Outlook, Access
• Knowledge of FDA-GLP, GCP and TPD regulation is an asset.
• Experience in the medical or pharmaceutical field is an asset.
• Knowledge of Watson LIMS will be an asset
