The Job: 

As the Category Manager, you’ll get to:    

  • Manage a $60M+ spend across EMEA and Americas for packaging categories, ensuring alignment with global business priorities.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that drive productivity, service, innovation, and quality in packaging.
  • Lead contract negotiations and maintain 80% of managed spend under contract to optimize cost and supply security.
  • Build and sustain supplier relationships, including conducting quarterly business reviews and driving supplier value creation.
  • Deliver annual productivity improvements of 5%+ through strategic sourcing events and initiatives.
  • Monitor market intelligence and trends monthly, advising the business on buying strategies and opportunities.
  • Drive regional risk mitigation strategies and tariff mitigation initiatives to ensure supply chain resiliency.
  • Identify and develop new sources of supply to support business growth and category expansion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Strategic Sourcing, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to achieve organization-wide KPIs.
  • Prepare contracts and agreements for approval, ensuring compliance and supporting optimum cash flow benefits.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Supply Chain).
  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, or the packaging industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and program management skills, with proficiency in Excel, SAP and data analysis.
  • Fluency in both English and Czech, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive results.
