At our Gillette plant in Berlin, which employs around 500 people, we use state-of-the-art high-tech control and manufacturing systems to produce wet-shaving heads for the premium Fusion, Labs, and Venus shaving systems.
About the Role
Are you passionate about shaping the digital future of manufacturing?
In this role, you will be responsible for IT, OT and digital technologies at a manufacturing site, ensuring stable, secure and scalable operations while accelerating the use of data, analytics and AI to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost.
You will work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and global IT, OT and Data teams, acting as a key enabler of P&G’s digital and AI‑driven manufacturing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support site IT and OT infrastructure, including networks and industrial connectivity
- Act as system owner or technical lead for AGV systems, Warehouse Management Systems (MHS) and OT machine connectivity, including lifecycle and obsolescence management
- Serve as Site Application Owner for manufacturing and digital applications, including system migrations and standard platform adoption
- Ensure cyber‑secure IT/OT operations, supporting cybersecurity governance, audits and ICS firewall activities
- Enable manufacturing data pipelines (PLC/HMI to edge and cloud) and work with SQL databases to support analytics and AI solutions
- Partner with Data Scientists and AI teams to deploy use cases such as predictive maintenance, quality analytics and autonomous operations
- Lead or contribute to cross‑functional IT, OT and digital projects, driving continuous improvement and business value
Job Qualifications
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience in IT/OT or digital technologies within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Basic knowledge of OT networks, automation systems or manufacturing technologies
- Interest or experience in data analytics, data engineering or AI‑enabled solutions
- Awareness of cybersecurity requirements in industrial environments
- Strong collaboration skills and a structured, solution‑oriented mindset
- Fluent English and German language skills (both required)
