About the role
Job Description:
The RN-Administrative Supervisor provides leadership and direction for the entire nursing department during the shift to which he/she is assigned. Expertise is demonstrated through innovative problem solving in clinical practice. The RN-Administrative Supervisor is a leader and change agent in the pursuit of improved nursing practice and quality patient care. Is responsible for administrative issues and daily maintenance of the facility with leadership functions directed at facilitating the smooth delivery of patient care on their shift. The RN-Administrative Supervisor functions independently and demonstrates professional accountability by adhering to professional standards. The RN-Administrative Supervisor will act as Incident Commander designee when the disaster plan is activated until a senior administrative person is available to assume responsibility.Education:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Accredited School of Nursing - Required
Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
Experience:
3 years Nursing - Psychiatry - Required
1 year Nursing - Leadership as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Manager - Required
Certifications/Licensures:
RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing - Required
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
Specialty Certification - Preferred
CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training- Required within 30-days of hire and renewal annually or within 30-days of return from a leave of absence
Work Shift:
08.0 Per Diem No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:
$94.86 - $142.30HourlyNote: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
