Job Description

Join our Group Control & Finance Development Team

We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our Group Control and Finance Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is eager to learn and grow within an international finance environment.

This position is based in Espoo, Finland.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will focus primarily on IT and other function controlling tasks, while contributing to group-level financial processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in reporting activities, financial analysis, planning, and forecasting
  • Owning the IT fee calculation and internal invoicing process
  • Collaborating closely with IT function stakeholders and other internal partners
  • Supporting group-level month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Contributing to the continuous development of systems, processes, and ways of working
  • Assisting in ad hoc financial analysis and development initiatives as needed

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a motivated and proactive team player who is ready to take ownership of their responsibilities.

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or another relevant field
  • A strong eagerness to learn and develop professionally
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to take ownership and work independently
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • An improvement-oriented mindset with interest in developing systems and processes
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Previous experience in controlling or similar finance roles and familiarity with BI tools (e.g. Power BI) are considered an advantage but are not required.
