A permanent job opportunity has arisen for a "Mechanical Systems Integration & Design Engineer" within Airbus Defence & Space to be based on Getafe
site in Spain. The successful candidate will join the TADAM-2 department at the Combat and UAV area and will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team.
Platforms like Eurofigther, Eurodorne, FCAS or SiRTAP are ander the scope of our work.
The Mechanical System Installation team stands for Quality & Improvement related to Fuel, Hydraulic, Environmental Control System, Equipment integration on aircraft among others.

The main activities of a Mechanical System integration & Design Engineer are related with delivering technical solutions in support of buildind, test and
delivery aircraft:
· Mechanical Systems definition from System Architecture
· Mechanical Components Specification for purchasing
· Mechanical Parts Documentation for Manufacturing
· Mechanical Systems Installation Documentation for assembling
· Interfacing with external partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test report and Project follow-up
meetings.

Required Competences & Skills
· Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
· Fluent in Writing and Spoken English
· Abilities to accept Design delegation
· Motivated, proactive and team dynamic player
· Commited in their own development to learn new skills
Desired Competences & Skills
Knowledge and experience in CATIA and PDM/PLM Tools, as well as the usual back office tools (Office...)
· Knowledge of aircraft systems & structures design
· Knowledge and/or experience in work linked to Aeronautical military projects.
· Professional experience as Engineer / Designer on Fluid Systems Installations (hydraulic, fuel, pneumatics, etc) and Equipment installations (sensor &
antennas, lights and cameras, cockpit installations, etc.)
