Salary$139,443.00 - $223,101.00The Opportunity:
Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is seeking a highly skilled, passionate and engaged nurse leader in Perioperative Services. In this vital role, you will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologist, nurses, perioperative team members and interdepartmental support staff, to deliver excellence across clinical, operational and financial services.
Our Perioperative Care Unit (PCU) is a 19-bed unit, comprised of nurses, patient care techs and health unit coordinators. PCU is responsible for the pre-surgical / pre-procedural preparation of patients receiving anesthesia, and post-surgical / post-procedural phase II recovery.
Our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is a 22-bed unit, comprised of nurses and patient care techs. PACU is responsible for the Phase I PACU recovery of the same surgical/procedural populations listed above, as well as post procedural Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology Procedures with Anesthesia.
We’re looking for a proven leader who is committed to employee engagement, service line growth and collaborative leadership. Critical thinking, independent judgment, and the ability to work under pressure are all essential.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years clinical nursing experience required (2, of the last 4 years, experience directly from Pre-op or PACU setting)
Minimum of 3 years prior manager/supervisor experience preferred
Bachelor’s in Nursing required. Master’s in Nursing preferred
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington required (may also be a Multi-State RN License from compact State)
Health Care Provider CPR Certification is required
ACLS/PALS is required
CAPA or CPAN is preferred
