We are searching for the best talent for Country Director Czech Republic Innovative Medicine.

Purpose:

The Country Director for the Czech Republic leads the Innovative Medicines (IM) organization to deliver outstanding Customer Interaction Excellence, commercial success, and sustainable long-term growth. This is an impactful leadership role, the incumbent will be member of regional Central Eastern Europe and Baltics Leadership Team. The selected candidate should display leadership behaviors fully aligned with our C.E.O. Leadership Behaviours—setting a bold vision, inspiring followership, and driving business performance with integrity, accountability and purpose. The role requires strong strategic foresight, exceptional stakeholder engagement, experience with talent development processes and leading diverse teams, and the ability to build a thriving Credo‑based culture.

You will be responsible for:

• Leads and manages the IM organization in the Czech Republic to ensure Customer Interaction Excellence and commercial success, with strong short‑, mid‑, and long‑term performance across key market segments.

• Drives the Debate with institutional stakeholders to secure both short‑ and long‑term access to innovation; leads activities with trade associations, patient organizations, and key opinion leaders.

• Holds responsibility for the IM business in the Czech Republic, ensuring full compliance with ethical, regulatory, and legal requirements.

• Builds a strong and diverse pipeline of future leaders; ensures alignment of talent strategy with current and future business needs.

• Implements corporate strategies and business processes while developing a fit‑for‑purpose local strategy aligned with regional guidance.

• Leads effective collaboration with Regional Teams, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Medical, HEMAR, and all other enabling functions.

• Ensures a strong Credo‑based culture across the organization, fostering high engagement, motivation, and a sense of purpose.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Strong track record of success in comparable senior leadership roles, including 10+ years of management experience with P&L responsibility, team development, and leading through influence.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including market access, HEMAR, and experience across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Proven ability to navigate external stakeholder landscapes, lead transformation, manage crises, and deliver strong competitive outcomes.
• High strategic thinking capability, strong commercial acumen, openness to innovation, and excellent communication skills.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency; collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Ability to act with courage and promote a compliance‑focused culture.
• Broad business understanding gained through cross‑functional experience, strategic thinking, and ability to create innovative and impactful strategies.
• Strong communication capabilities and the ability to inspire followership across the organization.
• Fluent English required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

Kč2’953’000.00 - Kč5’094’500.00

In addition to base pay, we offer the following benefits*: an annual bonus with set target (% of pay) depending on pay grade / location, where the actual amount is based on the employees’ and companies’ performance of the previous calendar year, or sales commissions.
