HOURS: Full-time

What you will be doing
Join our Consumer Lending COO Supplier Management group—a centre of excellence focused on supplier performance and governance. We assist our Consumer Lending teams in delivering value and excellent customer results by managing governance, due diligence, sustainability, and risk throughout the supplier lifecycle.
As a Supplier Manager, your responsibility is to manage suppliers based on Group policy and the External Supply Risk Management framework. You will guarantee compliance and alignment with risk appetite.
Supplier Relationship Management
Leads and actively shapes supplier relationships across contracts, ensuring delivery, governance and performance outcomes are consistently achieved. Drives the embedding of change and sustainable practices, balancing commercial, risk and customer priorities to deliver the right outcomes.
Supplier Oversight and Accountability
Manages supplier relationships and contracts from start to finish, ensuring complete alignment with policy frameworks and business goals. Accepts full responsibility for results, spotting issues early and pushing for swift resolution.
Risk and Governance Management
Applies supplier governance and risk frameworks with rigor, ensuring full compliance with Group policy and maintaining robust audit trails. Owns the development and ongoing readiness of exit and continuity plans, ensuring they are regularly evaluated and effective. Actively identifies and mitigates operational risk.
Data and Performance Insight
Uses data confidently and independently to analyse supplier performance and influence decisions. Translates complex data into clear, actionable insight and employs it to challenge performance and boost outcomes across contracts.
Customer-Centred Approach and Constant Refinement
Maintains a strong emphasis on customer outcomes, applying structured analysis to address issues and provide effective solutions. Guides ongoing improvement efforts, using insight and feedback to enhance performance and service quality.
Collaborator and Customer Engagement
Builds strong, trusted relationships with collaborators at all levels. Influences and aligns priorities across teams, constructively challenging when necessary to achieve the right outcome. Maintains regular engagement with senior partners, including Director level.
Commercial and Agreement Oversight
Leads and supports contract activity during the lifecycle, employing strong commercial judgement to secure value, raise performance, and maintain supplier accountability. Fosters improved commercial results through strategic negotiation and ongoing supplier engagement.

Confidently addressing challenges in a constructive manner and managing differing opinions to achieve the right outcome.
