Responsibilities (What he/she will do after join UI):
- Speed up the design implementation process to phase better UX into the market faster
- Maintain constant communication with the EPM and global team to follow up on projects
- Tracking the design status and diagnosing issues with packaging designer to create packaging solutions action
- Create packaging design action and track design implementation schedule
- Work directly with CMs to initiate/diagnose packaging assembly for onside process improvement
- Create and manage part management within the system
- Internal - Work closely with ID / PK / ME / SR / EPM / Graphic team
- External - Work closely with CMs / Suppliers
Minimum Qualifications (MUST-haves) :
- Logical thinking/Proactive personality/Works well under high pressure.
- Effective communication and time management skills.
- Highly organized, and able to handle a high volume of tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to drill down into an issue and clearly present pros/cons to driving rapid decision-making based on collection of engineering, cost & schedule information
- 3+ years of experience as a packaging engineer/technical program manager.
- Good understanding of the technologies/testings/materials used in packaging (paperboard, corrugated cardboard, molded fiber, blister trays, cushioning, wraps, films … etc)
- Ability to read packaging drawings/test specifications
- Excellent command/presentation skills/highly proficient in spoken and written English.
