As part of our global team, you’ll have the opportunity to regularly perform translations for assigned languages and quality checks to ensure a high-quality output to our internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:
• Performs translation tasks including initial translation, revision and quality checks.
• Updates terminology and TM for assigned language(s).
• Provides input for the evaluation of translators and reviewers.
• Maintains an overview of the specific rules and instructions for assigned language(s).
• Attends meetings and supports additional linguistic tasks as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 2 years).
In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• 0-2 years proven translation experience, preferred in life sciences translatons
• Proven Terminology and TM experience required
• CAT/TMS tool experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task, time management, organization, and attention to detail
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite
Working Conditions and Environment:
• Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
• Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international
