Position Overview
The Logistics Manager is responsible for the end to end planning, control, and execution of material flow and logistics activities at the MMSEE manufacturing plant.
The role ensures stable production support, accurate inventory control, customer delivery performance, and strong system discipline, in a high volume automotive manufacturing environment.
This is a management position with responsibility for decision making, process ownership, and team leadership.
Your Responsibilities:
Material Planning & Inventory Management
- Plan and control material flow to support production schedules and customer demand.
- Own and manage plant inventory, including raw materials, work‑in‑process, finished goods, and customer consignment stock.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, reconciliation, aging control, and prevention of obsolete stock, in coordination with Finance.
- Monitor stock levels and lead actions to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
SAP & System Discipline
- Act as owner of logistics and inventory processes in SAP.
- Ensure all material movements, inventory balances, and consumption are correctly recorded in the system.
- Maintain SAP as the single source of truth for logistics and inventory data.
- Coordinate with IT / system support for master data and system topics.
Logistics & Warehouse Operations
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Oversee warehouse operations, including storage, material handling, FIFO discipline, and space utilization.
- Improve logistics efficiency, flow, and cost performance.
Production Coordination
- Align material planning with production schedules across injection molding, assembly, and supporting processes.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, and Purchasing to ensure uninterrupted material supply.
- Identify risks to production or delivery early and lead corrective actions.
Customer & Commercial Support
- Support customer delivery performance and logistics requirements.
- Manage customer consignment processes, including consumption tracking and reconciliation.
- Provide accurate logistics and inventory information to Sales and Finance to support invoicing and customer communication.
Audits, Standards & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure logistics and material planning processes meet automotive industry requirements and internal standards.
- Support internal and external audits related to logistics, inventory, and material planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics, planning, and system usage.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop logistics, material planning, and warehouse teams.
- Define clear responsibilities, backup structures, and escalation paths.
- Participate in plant leadership meetings and operational reviews.

- Must be proficient in SAP/ERP usage.
- Must possess strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations is preferred.
- Possess leadership skills and ability to be led in a manner that is healthy to our positive and productive work environment.

- Must rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in a variety of tasks.

Your preferred qualifications:
- University Degree (bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
- Minimum of two (5) years of relevant experience in automotive industry
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and able to read and write in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Access database, Excel spreadsheets, Power BI and PowerPoint presentations required.
- Experience working with Manufacturing or Supply Chain is preferred.
