Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support global Alignment Strategy & Operational activities through the Veeva Align platform, serving as the primary accountable owner for field force alignment platforms and capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Commercial Operations, Strategy & Operations, and Business Insights & Analytics to execute alignment changes and enable seamless field force operations.
  • Collaborate with global technology teams and business colleagues to execute field force restructuring and product launch initiatives accurately and on time.
  • Manage day-to-day alignment operations, working closely with solution providers and integration teams to identify and remediate production issues.
  • Drive platform strategy awareness, ensuring alignment management applications and all related systems and business processes are fully operational.
  • Partner with matrix upstream and downstream teams (Worker, Customer, Product, CRM, Analytics, and other transactional systems) to ensure uninterrupted data consumption and delivery.
  • Collaborate with outsourcing partners and alignment vendors to ensure business requests, realignments, enhancements, product launches, and upgrades are accomplished in a timely manner.
  • Execute complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and visualize data through Power BI dashboards.
  • Represent the Alignment Strategy & Operations team in key internal business meetings, proactively contributing in alignment with department vision and strategies.
  • Document technical artifacts for all developed solutions and champion Agile practices across the team.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze alignment impacts, and translate operational needs into scalable system configurations and process improvements.
  • Support production operations, incident management, and root cause analysis for alignment-related issues while ensuring adherence to SLA and operational excellence standards.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational efficiency leveraging Commercial IT capabilities, integration platforms, and data-driven insights.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related fields
  • 5-6 years of IT experience with relevant experience in Commercial IT or Sales Operations domains.
  • Hands-on experience working with Veeva Align with strong experience in CRM ecosystems, territory alignment concepts, roster management, and field force operations within Life Sciences or Healthcare industries.
  • Working knowledge of sales force sizing, structure, alignment, segmentation and targeting
  • Experience working with Veeva Territory Designer or equivalent territory design tools.
  • Good understanding of Commercial/Sales business processes including territory alignment, targeting, call planning, customer hierarchies, and sales operations workflows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across global cross-functional teams and manage operational priorities effectively.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models with exposure to incident management, release coordination, and operational support processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate business requirements into operational and technical solutions while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability and willingness to learn any modern technologies and apply them at work to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Ability to lead initiatives related to continuous improvement or implementation of new technologies. Works independently on most deliverables.
  • Participates in decision making and brings a variety of strong views and perspective to achieve team objectives. 
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools including Power BI.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
