Job Description

Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

General Description:

Venture Global is seeking Associate/Graduate Engineers to join our team supporting LNG facilities in Louisiana. This program is designed for recent or soon-to-be engineering graduates eager to gain hands-on experience in plant operations, asset integrity, and process optimization within a high-growth energy company. Engineers in this role will report to an Engineering Manager within the Operations team and will play an important part in ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations.

Responsibilities:

As an Engineering Associate, you will:

  • Gain expertise in Venture Global’s Asset Integrity Management Program
  • Stay current on developments in process management and engineering best practices
  • Contribute to initiatives involving pipelines, marine facilities, and related infrastructure
  • Support the Management of Change (MOC) process
  • Assist in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) efforts
  • Help develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Provide troubleshooting support to Operations teams on day-to-day issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or anticipated graduation within next year with an Engineering discipline (e.g., Chemical, Process or Production)
  • One (1) to four (4) years’ experience working as an Engineer in a process plant environment would be a plus.
  • Associate Engineer or Recent Graduate willing to relocate to designated site
  • Ability to travel as needed to LNG site in Louisiana
  • Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Application Suite
  • Familiarity with ASME, API, and NACE/AMPP recommended practices
