The successful candidates will play a vital role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our products are manufactured and handled in a safe environment meeting the highest standards of quality, contribute to the efficiency of our manufacturing process as well as meeting customer supply demands.
As part of the team, your key responsibilities include
- Following safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Handling products according Food Safety and Quality standards
- Use of SAP and other online computer systems
- Active use of lean manufacturing tools including 5Y, Kaizen and One Point Lessons to reduce losses across the plant
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including completion of periodic cleaning and operational tasks
- Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Reporting any issues to the Shift Leader or Manager
Specific responsibilities for Production Operator
- Monitoring and inspecting finished goods to ensure they meet Quality standards
- Setting up, operating, monitoring and adjusting production machinery and equipment
- Basic machine troubleshooting and autonomous maintenance
