Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial records. You will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including financial reporting, analysis, and compliance with relevant regulations. Your expertise will contribute to informed decision-making and ensure the organization’s financial stability.


Duties/Responsibilities:
•Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
•Consolidate financial data for reporting to management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
•Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern.
•Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy.
•Monitor and review account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
•Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
•Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
•Monitor accrual financial performance against budgeted figures, explaining variances.
•Analyze financial data to provide insights into the company’s financial performance and suggest areas for improvement.
•Provide support for strategic decision-making by conducting various financial analysis.
•Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
•Prepare and submit necessary tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
•Prepare and assist with preparation of audit PBC requests and questions to internal and external auditors during financial audits.
•Provide documentation and explanations for audit inquiries.
•Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounting processes.
•Implement best practices to streamline procedures and improve accuracy.
•Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and legal, to support overall business objectives.

Education/Experience/Skills:
•To confirm to US export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the US Government.
•Proficient in spoken and written English
•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA designation is highly preferred.
•Proven experience as an accountant, with increasing levels of responsibility.
•In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
•Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems; advanced excel skills.
•Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
•Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
•Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing business requirements.

Physical Requirements:
•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Communicating with others to exchange information.
•Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
•Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
•Small amount of physical and mobile work.

Travel Requirements:
•Up to 10% when required.
