YOUR MISSION

Glovo’s success and constant growth is introducing new challenges in securing our assets. We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in safeguarding our digital infrastructure and protecting against potential threats.

 

THE JOURNEY

  • Design and build internal solutions to identify and remedy compliance and security failures.
  • Develop policy as code, templates and modules to implement and enforce secure patterns and guidance 
  • Respond to alerts and participate in the overall incidence response and on-call response
  • Experience with analyzing and understanding the log sources
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to consult on improvements to the operational security requirements vis-a-vis 
  • Respond to detected incidents in the cloud environment and ensure that all cloud security pipelines and infrastructure are operational
  • Help create security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines for engineers to consume

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Operational experience with AWS, GCP
  • Operational experience securing Kubernetes is an extra plus 
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Golang
  • Operational experience with infrastructure as a code: Terraform
  • Excellent written and communications skills, as well as strong interpersonal and relationship building skills;
  • Proven team player, collaborating well with others to tackle problems in a team-focused dynamic
  • Familiarity with cloud-native security platforms and tools like AWS CloudTrail, AWS Config, AWS Inspector, etc.)

Nice-to-haves:

  • CISSP-ISSAP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty or similar certifications
  • Knowledge of GDPR security and privacy requirements
  • Knowledge of basic security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
