What You'll Be Doing
- Perform field and lab testing, including sampling raw materials, compression testing of concrete, and conducting trial mixes for product development.
- Travel to various job sites, interact with site personnel and external labs, and transport materials back to the lab as needed.
- Ensure proper materials, components, and testing procedures are followed while maintaining and calibrating equipment.
- Troubleshoot concrete performance issues and provide timely, accurate reporting of all test results to management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and customers to support quality and operational goals.
What We Are Looking For
- Background in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field, with knowledge of CSA standards and construction materials such as ready mix concrete.
- Ability to perform field and laboratory testing; ACI/CCIL Concrete Field Testing certification considered an asset.
- Strong technical skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency and the ability to use digital tools effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe, independent, and team‑oriented work, with flexibility to support varied shifts and overtime as needed.
- Physically capable of working indoors and outdoors year‑round, including lifting up to 50 lbs., navigating varied terrain, and performing tasks that require kneeling, climbing, and extended standing or sitting.

- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
