What You'll Be Doing
Systems Maintenance: Perform comprehensive electrical maintenance and advanced troubleshooting on complex plant equipment.
Inspection & Repair: Inspect, test, and repair electrical systems and infrastructure to ensure maximum safety and operational efficiency.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime and restore operations.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the maintenance team to support and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical Documentation: Maintain precise records of work performed, system modifications, and parts inventory.
What Are We Looking For
Certification: Must possess a valid Red Seal Industrial Electrician certificate.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of industrial electrical systems, controls, and medium-voltage safety standards.
Diagnostic Skills: Expert ability to diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
Schematic Proficiency: Highly skilled in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Safety Excellence: Unwavering commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and arc flash safety.
Teamwork: Strong communication skills with the ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary maintenance team.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in the Cement Industry or heavy industrial manufacturing is preferred.
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.

This role operates primarily in heavy industrial environments.

What We Offer
Starting at $58.20 per hour, increasing to $59.36 per hour (as per collective agreement)
