About the location:
Your own private paradise on a lush coral island. On Desroches Island, there is nothing to distract you from tranquillity, save for the sound of birds singing and an ocean breeze that invites you to come a little closer. We’re the only resort on this captivating coral island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, where the beaches belong to no one and everyone at the same time. Our rustic villas and suites are intimate retreats and will make you feel like a castaway who has struck gold.1. Acts as role model for the hotel's code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards
2. Is seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times; Walks the talk
3. Actively participates in briefings and meetings; facilitates communication between employees and management
4. Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment
5. Performs any additional duties as assigned
Departmental
1. Provide information to guests about the services offered in the Spa as well as the hotel
2. Read and update the daily log and communicate relevant information to the staff
3. Produce all Spa reports as required by management.
4. Process all charges in Spa Software program and ensure guests are billed accurately in Opera
5. Provide assistance to guests with the retail merchandise when necessary
6. To conduct training's on: AntiGravity Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Power Yoga, Yoga energy trail, Pregnancy Yoga, Aqua Yoga, Yoga nidra, Pranayama & Meditation.
7. To conduct sound healing/sound bath experiences for guests this including the holistic meditation.
8. Conduct Pilate classes for guests when required and as part of experiences.
9. Create a class experience that shows your personality and skills while adhering to the standards
10. Create personal connection with each student
11. Set up class room: Props, mat spacing, music, lighting
12. Provide top notch class instruction that is consistent with the class format
13. Follow up with student after the class
14. Demonstrate the ability to teach safe, fun and creative class with a genuine interest in student success
15. Have a strong desire to grow and the ability to take on and integrate feedback
16. Inform participants in various forms of yoga and its effect on body and mind.
