As an Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic, you will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles while working with a service team that values quality, efficiency, and technician productivity.

Automotive Technician responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and manufacturer-recommended services.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, brake, HVAC, and drivability concerns.
- Use diagnostic equipment, technical manuals, and repair procedures to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately.

Automotive Technician qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3–4+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician, Auto Mechanic, or Service Technician in a dealership or automotive repair facility preferred.
- Automotive technical training, apprenticeship, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, mechanical, and electrical repair skills.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and service information systems.
- ASE certification or Honda manufacturer certification is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
