Job Description
We are seeking a talented Software Requirements Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in defining, analyzing, and managing software requirements for complex engineering projects. Your expertise in MATLAB and Polarion will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality automotive software solutions.
Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with algorithm development teams to elicit, analyze, and document software requirements.
Use advanced techniques like interviews, workshops, and document reviews to gather comprehensive requirements.
Analyze requirements for feasibility, completeness, and consistency.
Develop and maintain detailed requirement specifications.
Model-Based Development:
Utilize MATLAB to create and maintain system models, including block diagrams and statecharts.
Develop and execute simulations to validate system behavior and performance.
Ensure traceability between requirements and system models.
Requirement Management:
Employ Polarion or similar tools to manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
Track requirements changes, prioritize tasks, and ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate with development teams, including algorithm developers, to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
Testing and Verification:
Develop test cases based on requirements.
Participate in testing activities to ensure software meets specified requirements.
Analyze test results and identify defects.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and design documents.
Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and up-to-date.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in MATLAB, including model-based design and simulation techniques.
Experience with Polarion or similar requirement management tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
Knowledge of software testing tools and techniques.
Familiarity with industry standards like DO-178B/C or IEC 61508.
