Systems Requirements Engineer

We are seeking a talented Software Requirements Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in defining, analyzing, and managing software requirements for complex engineering projects. Your expertise in MATLAB and Polarion will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality automotive software solutions. 

Responsibilities 

• Requirement Gathering and Analysis: 

• Collaborate with algorithm development teams to elicit, analyze, and document software requirements. 

• Use advanced techniques like interviews, workshops, and document reviews to gather comprehensive requirements. 

• Analyze requirements for feasibility, completeness, and consistency. 

• Develop and maintain detailed requirement specifications. 

• Model-Based Development: 

• Utilize MATLAB to create and maintain system models, including block diagrams and statecharts. 

• Develop and execute simulations to validate system behavior and performance. 

• Ensure traceability between requirements and system models. 

• Requirement Management: 

• Employ Polarion or similar tools to manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle. 

• Track requirements changes, prioritize tasks, and ensure compliance with standards. 

• Collaborate with development teams, including algorithm developers, to ensure requirements are accurately implemented. 

• Testing and Verification: 

• Develop test cases based on requirements. 

• Participate in testing activities to ensure software meets specified requirements. 

• Analyze test results and identify defects. 

• Documentation: 

• Create and maintain comprehensive software documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and design documents. 

• Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and up-to-date. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 

• Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. 

• Proficiency in MATLAB, including model-based design and simulation techniques. 

• Experience with Polarion or similar requirement management tools. 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies. 

• Knowledge of software testing tools and techniques. 

• Familiarity with industry standards like DO-178B/C or IEC 61508.
