The Team

AQR is looking for an exceptionally talented individual with 3-5 years of design experience to join our Marketing team. 

 

Your Role: Graphic Designer, Marketing

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join AQR’s Marketing team. This role is responsible for translating complex financial concepts into clear, compelling, and brand-consistent visual materials across digital and print channels. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional design skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and producing advanced Powerpoint presentations, including the use of animation
• Developing high-quality marketing materials including:
  • One Pagers
  • Brochures
  • White papers
  • Event and conference materials
• Creating website and digital assets (email, social, web graphics)
• Creating branded charts, graphs, tables, icons and other infographics
• Editing short form videos for social and web
• Maintaining presentation templates and applying to new materials, focusing on brand guidelines and technical formatting
• Maintaining and evolving brand standards across all visual mediums
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

 

What You’ll Bring

• A design portfolio demonstrating print, digital and motion/animation work
• Advanced expertise in Powerpoint, including presentation design, layout, templating and animation
• Proven experience in motion graphics (After Effects) or data visualization tools
• Strong command of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • InDesign
  • Illustrator
  • Photoshop
• Proficient in Word, including layout and templating
• Familiarity with Canva or similar platforms

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of professional design experience. Financial services, asset management, consulting, or another professional services environment a plus
• Strong portfolio demonstrating polished and professional detail-oriented design work
